This is Levi’s most recent Curve ID ad that i’ve been seeing all over LA.
There’s something about the wording of this ad that really turns me off to the brand. It gives me the impression that those type of jeans are not made for everyone and in a way discriminating towards those who are not slim like the models shown.
I understand they were trying to advertise for the curvy figure and that your ass could look this good in those jeans, but that slogan they add just throws it all off.

In the most recent issue of V FASHION, 25-year-old Russian supermodel Natasha Poly, who was recently the face of Gucci for the spring/summer 2010 season, is featured in an editorial entitled “City of God” translating a religious underworld inspired by the movie “Holy Mountain.”
I was really drawn to this editorial because first of all, I love Natasha and I find everything she’s in to be spectacularly beautiful, but mostly due to the way it feels like they are poking fun at religion. I find that to be very intriguing.
I also love that this editorial does not just show a beautiful girl in perfectly styled designs posed prettily. Instead, the editorial stays true to it’s inspiration showing Natasha with bugs crawling all over her face and licking someone’s fist, but in absolutely stunning designs of course.

As his 4th year creating master collections, designer Toon Geboers has created a collection entitled “Wednesday” inspired by the eternally elegant Wednesday Addams of the Addams Family for a slightly dark collection full of stripes in black and white. The lookbook is shot by photographer Zeb Daemen featuring models Romy and Topaez channelling complete Wednesday glamour in a classic garden scenery with roman statues and all.

For a pre-fall 2010 womenswear editorial, 19-year-old Canadian model Taryn Davidson is featured in an editorial entitled “A Single Woman” shot by fashion and celebrity photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath in the upcoming issue of ELLE UK for a simple and classy story. Taryn reminds me a bit of Scarlett Johansson in some of these images.
This year, the non-profit trade organization for North-American designers of fashion, the Council of Fashion Designers of America or CFDA, held their 28th annual award ceremony at Lincoln Center in New York City for the second year in a row this past Monday, June 7th. Although many may not find the ghostly white skin beautiful these days especially with all the fake tanners available, I find pale skin to be very beautiful and pure and 32-year-old Guinevere van Seenus embodies that vision in an editorial entitled “Le Dame du Lac” or “The Dame of the Lake” for the 114th issue of Numéro for this June and July. Whimsically shot by photographer Jeff Burton by a dreamy lake, stylist Franck Benhamou dressed Guinevere in designs by the likes of Chanel, Versace, Herve Leger, Lanvin, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and John Galliano.

Madonna worked with the creative minds at Dolce & Gabbana to create a new line of MDG sunglasses, so for no surprise, Madonna is featured in the ad campaign. Shot in a bathroom stall by photographer Steven Klein, Madonna shows off her sultry cougar attitude caressing a studly young man that must be half her age while being followed by reporters.
