I stumbled upon this image in an editorial featured in this month’s issue of Numéro shot by photographer Camilla Akrans featuring 21-year-old Lithuanian model Edita Vilkeviciute. The editorial is located in the beautiful city of Paris, France with a 1970’s Parisian glamour vibe.
I fell absolutely in love with this particular image amongst the editorial because Edita looks so beautiful and angelic in the white mini, and the way her body leans in towards the Eiffel Tower is gorgeously brilliant.
Magazine: V FASHION Fall 2010
Editorial: City of God
Photographer: Mario Sorrenti
Stylist: Jane How
Model: Natasha Poly (WOMEN)
In the most recent issue of V FASHION, 25-year-old Russian supermodel Natasha Poly, who was recently the face of Gucci for the spring/summer 2010 season, is featured in an editorial entitled “City of God” translating a religious underworld inspired by the movie “Holy Mountain.”
I was really drawn to this editorial because first of all, I love Natasha and I find everything she’s in to be spectacularly beautiful, but mostly due to the way it feels like they are poking fun at religion. I find that to be very intriguing.
I also love that this editorial does not just show a beautiful girl in perfectly styled designs posed prettily. Instead, the editorial stays true to it’s inspiration showing Natasha with bugs crawling all over her face and licking someone’s fist, but in absolutely stunning designs of course.

Katy Perry’s blue wig looks very Flinstone’s to me.
Madonna worked with the creative minds at Dolce & Gabbana to create a new line of MDG sunglasses, so for no surprise, Madonna is featured in the ad campaign. Shot in a bathroom stall by photographer Steven Klein, Madonna shows off her sultry cougar attitude caressing a studly young man that must be half her age while being followed by reporters.
