Editorial: Call It Love
Photographer: Ellen von Unwerth
Models: Raquel Zimmermann (DNA), Caroline Trentini (STORM), Nicholas Hoult
Stylist: Grace Coddington
Running amuck of New York City and going to a cinema, 26-year-old Brazilian covergirl Raquel Zimmermann and 22-year-old also Brazilian covergirl Caroline Trentini grace the pages of the upcoming issue of Vogue Nippon with 20-year-old British Tom Ford “It” boy Nicholas Hoult in high New York fashion. This editorial is so chic and fun that it makes me want to go prowl the streets of New York.

Featuring black and white pages with beautiful hair-dos, 22-year-old Dutch model Michelle Westgeest graces the cover and for a spread along with 23-year-old Dutch model Cicely Telman and male model Jorg van der Ham shot by photographers Petrovsky & Ramone. I really like this spread because the photos in black and white give it a classic glamour feel, but edgy and naughty with the wild hair and the use of piercings is great.

Embodying a fashionable business woman, my favorite Asian model 22-year-old Chinese Liu Wen is featured in this editorial entitled “Dress For Success” for the upcoming issue of Vogue China with 35-year-old Taiwanese America singer Stanley Huang in some of this season’s sleekest suits. Magazine: VMAN #18 Summer ’10
Editorial: Shrek of A Guy
Photographer: Ellen von Unwerth
Models: Emma Dumont (FORD), Francisco Lachowski (FORD), & Paolo Anchisi (FORD)
Stylist: Nicola Formichetti
For an animated yet fashionable editorial, 15-year-old newcomer Emma Dumont, Brazilian Francisco Lachowski, and male model Paolo Anchisi are joined by the cast of Shrek in the 18th issue of VMAN this summer. Styled by Lady Gaga‘s stylist, Nicola Formichetti, Emma, Francisco, and Paolo are featured in designs in black and jeans for quite a chic and fun story shot by photographer Ellen von Unwerth at The Standard, New York. Although Dreamworks first approved on this project, they are not happy with the results due to the raciness surrounding the cartoon characters making them not kid-friendly. I personally love the way the characters and the models are interacting in this editorial, but it is definitely not for children.

I’ve always been obsessed with Coca-Cola and in the last few years, they have done collaborations with the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Patricia Field for a Sex and the City theme. Their most recent collaboration is with Karl Lagerfeld for Coca-Cola Light who has dressed the bottle in white and a hot pink cap adorning it with his signature Karl silhouette along with his signature. The bottle is made of aluminum coming in a white limited-edition box along with a bottle-opener tucked discreetly in the drawer under it. Starting on Saturday, April 24th, you will be available to purchase this limited Karl Lagerfeld item from the French boutique Colette for €3.50. I absolutely LOVE this design for Coca-Cola Light. Karl never ceases to produce amazing work! Continue reading “Coca-Cola Light by Karl Lagerfeld”
