Earlier in December, I ventured to the magical land of Disney with Derec and Chad. Look how magical:
I visited LACMA, Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, today with Jeff and discovered an exhibit filled with Picasso and Matisse!! I was absolutely inspired with their use of color and shapes. I also saw the Tibetan exhibit filled with many trunks and statues. I didn’t get a chance to visit all the exhibits currently on view, but here are my favorites from what I saw today:
Yesterday, I went to visit the Getty Center in Los Angeles up above the I-405. I have only been there once before and that was about twelve years ago. The architecture of the buildings were definitely a lot more beautiful than I remember, and all the works of art were definitely inspiring. I was expecting to see a much larger garden because there are a lot of species of plants, but the garden was kind of small. I am not really a religious person, so I find religious art to be quite preachy and often times creepy and the Getty Center is FULL of this religious art. But anyways, here are some of my favorite pieces from the museum:
Yesterday, I met up with my friends Lindzy and Ashlee down at Japanese Village for some photography fun for Ash’s Suicide Girls portfolio. Enjoy!
