My favorite eveningwear designer Marchesa has created yet another amazingly beautiful collection for the fall season with some elegant designs in black, white, and bold reds, pinks, and blues. Here are my favorite pieces:
For this fall season, it seems that the trend for designers is to go with a softer look and New York/Paris designer Altuzarra has done just that for a sexy and feminine collection oozing confidence and fearlessness. Full of leather and mohair, the collection is very strong with the perfect mix of modern reality and harshness. Here are my favorite looks from the collection:
This season, other than wearing camo colors, opt for the most feminine color, pink! From a soft cotton candy to bright neon lipstick, pink really shone through as a prominent color this season in everything from strong, sharp suits to soft ruffled dresses empowering your femininity. Here are some of the looks from the runway this past fall:
Magazine: Vogue China May 2010
Editorial: Dress For Success
Photographer: Yuan Gui Mei
Models: Liu Wen (MARILYN, SELECT, d’MANAGEMENT) & Stanley Huang
Stylist: Ling Wu
Embodying a fashionable business woman, my favorite Asian model 22-year-old Chinese Liu Wen is featured in this editorial entitled “Dress For Success” for the upcoming issue of Vogue China with 35-year-old Taiwanese America singer Stanley Huang in some of this season’s sleekest suits. They both look so chic for a simple and straightforward editorial that I really enjoy.
I’ve always been obsessed with Coca-Cola and in the last few years, they have done collaborations with the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Patricia Field for a Sex and the City theme. Their most recent collaboration is with Karl Lagerfeld for Coca-Cola Light who has dressed the bottle in white and a hot pink cap adorning it with his signature Karl silhouette along with his signature. The bottle is made of aluminum coming in a white limited-edition box along with a bottle-opener tucked discreetly in the drawer under it. Starting on Saturday, April 24th, you will be available to purchase this limited Karl Lagerfeld item from the French boutique Colette for €3.50. I absolutely LOVE this design for Coca-Cola Light. Karl never ceases to produce amazing work! Continue reading “Coca-Cola Light by Karl Lagerfeld”
Magazine: Flare April 2010
Editorial: Oh So Coco
Photographer: Chris Nicholls
Model: Coco Rocha (ELITE, MARILYN, STORM, WHY NOT)
Stylist: Elizabeth Cabral
Coco Rocha is stunning in this fun-loving cover shoot full of hearts and pastels. My favorite look from this shoot is the denim Dolce & Gabbana top, skirt, and black booties in the last image. I am just a sucker for lace!

Prior to his tragic death, Alexander McQueen‘s fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection was about 80% completed. According to his right hand person, Sarah Burton, he turned away modern technology for inspiration.
She said, “He wanted to get back to the handcraft he loved, and the things that are being lost in the making of fashion. He was looking at the art of the Dark Ages, but finding light and beauty in it. He was coming in every day, draping and cutting pieces on the stand.”
Presented in Paris in February, the show ended with “Each piece is unique, as was he.” Here are the 16 pieces from his final collection:
