Last weekend, the LA Art Show was in town at the LA Convention Center. I know convention centers are created to be versatile, but I am always excited to see how the space is transformed each time. The Art Show this year incorporated a lot more artists that utilize pop culture and street techniques, which is definitely a welcomed change next to all the traditional and classic works. Here are some of my favorite pieces from the show:
Having fashionable Karl Lagerfeld already designed a special bottle for Coca-Cola Light, it is to no surprise that Coca-Cola will create more items for the trendy female. Their most recent collaboration is with Nails Inc for the Diet Coke City Collection consisting of 4 new summery shades inspired by the 4 fashion capitals of the world in nude (London), red (Milan), fuchsia (New York), and purple (Paris).
Between now and June 30th, selected Boots stores in the UK will be giving away 1 of the 4 exclusive colors when you purchase 2 500ml bottles of Diet Coke. If you are nowhere near the UK like me, you can purchase these limited-edition colors for £10.50 each directly from Nails Inc.
I’ve always been obsessed with Coca-Cola and in the last few years, they have done collaborations with the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Patricia Field for a Sex and the City theme. Their most recent collaboration is with Karl Lagerfeld for Coca-Cola Light who has dressed the bottle in white and a hot pink cap adorning it with his signature Karl silhouette along with his signature. The bottle is made of aluminum coming in a white limited-edition box along with a bottle-opener tucked discreetly in the drawer under it. Starting on Saturday, April 24th, you will be available to purchase this limited Karl Lagerfeld item from the French boutique Colette for €3.50. I absolutely LOVE this design for Coca-Cola Light. Karl never ceases to produce amazing work! Continue reading “Coca-Cola Light by Karl Lagerfeld”
