LA Art Show

Last weekend, the LA Art Show was in town at the LA Convention Center. I know convention centers are created to be versatile, but I am always excited to see how the space is transformed each time. The Art Show this year incorporated a lot more artists that utilize pop culture and street techniques, which is definitely a welcomed change next to all the traditional and classic works. Getty Getty Getty Confetti

Yesterday, I went to visit the Getty Center in Los Angeles up above the I-405. I have only been there once before and that was about twelve years ago. The architecture of the buildings were definitely a lot more beautiful than I remember, and all the works of art were definitely inspiring. I was expecting to see a much larger garden because there are a lot of species of plants, but the garden was kind of small. I am not really a religious person, so I find religious art to be quite preachy and often times creepy and the Getty Center is FULL of this religious art. But anyways, here are some of my favorite pieces from the museum:
